Add Meta Tags To Improve Blog's SEO

Meta tags can be used to put keywords and descriptions that related to the website topics. But since some search engines analyze NO keywords and description for their page rankings, These meta tags are hardly focused by most bloggers.
It's clear that the biggest search engine like Google doesn't analyze keywords and decsriptions in their page ranking calculation (http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2009/09/google-does-not-use-keywords-meta-tag.html).
However the meta tag for descriptions is still looked up by Google and used as snippets in Google SERP (like below image).
On the other side, As stated by Bing's Senior Product Manager, Duane Forrester; Bing analyzes keywords in their page ranking calculation regardless of other search engines who disregard this kind of meta tag (http://www.webmasterworld.com/google/4354098.htm).
I'll make this statement: meta keywords is a signal. One of roughly a thousand we analyze.To add meta tags for keywords and descriptions, Please follow these steps carefully :
Getting it right is a nice perk for us, but won't rock your world. Abusing meta keywords can hurt you.

- Log in to Blogger.
- Choose Template > Click Edit HTML > Proceed
- Use Ctrl+F function to find this line of codes :

Descriptions should be below 200 characters so they won't confuse the search engine bots.

The meta tags should look like this in your template editor :
Save your template after all codes placed properly.
Please note, The description meta tag in this page is only for your homepage URL (i.e http://digita7seven.blogspot.com).
To add descriptions meta tag for individual post in blogger blogs, You can add them manually from your post editor :

Optimize SEO With TITLE Tag

Happy New Year to all of you with best wishes for everything you do in 2013 !
In this very first day of the new year, I'm going to write about the title tag that applied to all your posts in blogger. This title tag is pretty important to improve your site's SEO.
Title Tag is the most important key factor for a successful Search Engine Optimization of your website. This is because the title tag is seen by search engine crawlers first before any other things in SERP (Search Engine Result Page). This title tag is also calculated in the page ranking.
Unlike the title tag, Meta tags for description and keywords have been long ignored in the ranking by most search engines including the big G (Read here : http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2009/09/google-does-not-use-keywords-meta-tag.html).
The title tag is placed under the <head> code and above the meta keywords and description of your blog. It usually consists of 15-55 characters (better with the maximum of 80 characters for "robots friendly" title tag).
The simple understanding of the title tag is as shown in below image :
The title tag is not a meta tag since it's in the website title section but title tag generates the title for your blog posts in the search result.
Some bloggers will probably find this error when they use ONLINE META TAG ANALYZER : "Found no title. The title is used by most search engines. Consider to add a title".
So here's how to fix the error and add a title for all your posts :
There are two ways of adding the title tag according to the need of your site's SEO. I'd prefer the second option but i'm giving you 2 alternatives :
1. Put the title tag followed by blog name

If your blog name has related keywords to all your blog posts, I suggest you using this tag method as described in below image.
To shorten the blog name with your desired keywords (only applied to the post title), Find this line of codes :
<title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title>
Replace the the entire line of <data:blog.pageTitle/> with your text.
2. Put only your post title in the search result
If you want to put only the title of your post in the search result, You can put these codes after the <head> :
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
<title><data:blog.pageName/></title>
<b:else/>
<title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title>
</b:if>
The codes should be located in here :
The tab in your browser will then show your page like this :
Now if you use the online meta tag analyzer, The title tag will be detected :
The reason why i choose the second method is because it's not necessary to talk about your blog in your post. You will have more space for the post title.
Save your template to make all changes take effect.

Optimize Your Blog Post Title In Search Result

To have your post title appear before your blog name in the search result is necessary. More space will be used for the post title. This is useful if you have a long enough title for the post.
Google search shows only a glance of results based on the typed keywords. If your post title comes first in the line, A chance of clicks on your link will be higher. This is because your post title shows more of what they're probably looking for.
If you haven't set it up, Google search results will show your blog name first like the above image. So how you make a change in the search results to show your post title first instead of your blog name ?
Here are the steps :
- Go to Dashboard > Template.
- Click Edit HTML > Proceed.
- Expand Widgets templates.
- Use Ctrl + F to search for this code :
<title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title>
- Replace the above red codes with these codes :
